Claudia de Castro Andrade has been working in the field of visual communication since 1981. She studied Architecture and Urbanism at PUCC in Campinas, Brazil and Advertising Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, USA.

She lived in Manhattan for 15 years where she worked as a graphic designer and art director for several publications while pursuing her other interests as painting, illustration and photography.

Her professional experience as a designer includes print design, illustration and photography. As a visual artist, her works on paper and mixed media have been exhibited in Campinas, São Paulo and in the USA, including one solo show at Icaro gallery in New York City.

Como designer gráfica trabalhou com publicação impressa, Ilustração e fotografia. Como artista visual, seus trabalhos em papel e mídia mista foram exibidos em Campinas, São Paulo e nos EUA, incluindo uma exposição individual feita na Galeria Icaro em Nova York.
